Public pools in Marbella

One working indoor municipal pool, published prices exactly double for anyone not on the padrón, and a second pool whose own council pages cannot agree whether it is open.

Read from the Ayuntamiento's own pages, 4 September 2026.

Piscina municipal Salduba

The one clearly working indoor pool, hosting swimming, water polo and artistic swimming. Weekend hours are not published; the council's own line reads simply 'enquire'. For a different sport, padel and tennis courts are on their own page.

The second pool, contested

Piscina cubierta Las Chapas is a genuine contradiction inside the council's own site: its facility page still reads 'under construction', while the 2026/27 activities programme lists 26 aquatic groups running there, with enrolment expected in September. Ring the sports delegation, 952 761 100, before you plan around it.

What it costs

Every row below is exactly double for anyone not registered on the Marbella padrón, with no exception stated. Four discounts apply on top, none of them stackable with another, and each needs the original documentation shown at enrolment. The same council office also runs how recycling actually works. For a quieter afternoon, museums, flamenco and libraries covers what the town has beyond the water.

Questions

How much is the public pool in Marbella?

A single swim is 1,64 euro for residents and 3,29 euro for everyone else. A ten-swim pass is 14,79 euro resident, 29,58 euro visitor. Every published price doubles for anyone not on the Marbella padrón.

Is the Las Chapas pool open?

The council's own pages disagree: the facility page says under construction, the activities programme lists 26 groups running there this season. Ring the sports delegation, 952 761 100, before you plan around it.

Are there discounts at Marbella's public pools?

Yes: 10% with the Euro Joven card, 30% for a large family, and 50% for retirees or a disability of 33% or more. They are not cumulative, and the original documentation is required at enrolment.

How this was read

Prices, hours and the discount schedule are read from the Ayuntamiento's own sports-activities pages. Where two of the council's own pages disagree, as they do on the Las Chapas pool, both versions are reported rather than one being silently chosen.
