Method and sourcing changes that altered what the index measures. A change of method is not a price rise.

1. 11 August 2026Rebuilt on venue-published prices only

   Every price re-derived from a rate the venue publishes on its own domain or its own booking platform (labelled “via”). Booking affiliates dropped as sources. Headline average moved because the method changed, not because prices rose. Year-on-year left null until a sourced prior-season figure exists.

2. 26 August 2026Dropped Nikki Beach's guessed day split

   Removed an invented weekday/weekend split; the index carries only figures the venue itself publishes.

3. 10 September 2026Corrected the two-person sample claim

   Press wording no longer presents the two-person sample as an average single sunbed. Historical seven-venue sample, mixed packages, fees and public-beach access stated explicitly across nine languages.
