Beer consumption in Spanish bars down 16.1% since 2022
The agriculture ministry reports that beer drunk outside the home fell 16.1% between 2022 and 2025. Industry body Cerveceros de España says that, when tourists are included, the total market is 2.7% larger than in 2022, a point made in its interview with EFE Agro (https://www.theolivepress.es/spain-news/2026/09/05/spanish-beer-drinking-decline/).
